Payment method

There are three ways to pay for your purchases:

(i) Cheque sent to the company. This will take up to a week for funds to clear. This method is useful if you are placing an order that may take some time to arrive. Higher specification Gen II+ tubed units being typical of that situation.

(ii) Paypal. This is becoming increasingly popular as a money trading method. You can pay with funds already in your Paypal account, or Paypal allows you to pay with a credit card or debit card.

(iii) Good old-fashioned cash. This can be sent to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery for about £4-50 which we are happy to deduct from your invoice. This is the ONLY method of payment that allows us to ‘sharpen our pencil’ as far as pricing your order is concerned.

Returns

We try to please everyone, but not everyone can be pleased if there is a limit on their budget. With Nightvision equipment, you really do get what you pay for. A unit that can give you ‘green daylight’ without any additional illumination, WILL cost you £5000+ so please don’t expect this grade of equipment for £500, as it isn’t available for that sort of money.

Everyone can make a mistake, and if possible we try to make that as painless as possible. Any returns must get back to us in “as new” condition. Anything returned that shows signs of any use, will not be processed for a full refund. We operate a 7 day return policy which is your statutory right. This right only includes orders returned unused. Everything returned will be tested before a refund is processed.

Once the refund has been agreed, payments made are returned by either reversing the Paypal transaction, or by cheque. We do not return cash by mail in case it gets ‘lost in the post’ and adds some considerable delay to the refund.
Cheques are less of a problem if they fail to arrive as they can be replaced in days not weeks.

If you are unsure of your choice, PLEASE do email or phone for further advice.

Warranty

All equipment sold by Nightvision Supplies Limited, unless stated otherwise, comes with a One Year Limited Warranty.

The Limiting clause is the repair or replacement of any equipment supplied that subsequently goes to ‘fault’. We do not accept nor infer acceptance of any other liability.

Not all fault conditions are immediately obvious. Sometimes it may be necessary for us to run tests to ensure we understand the reported fault. In these circumstances we would ask for your patience while we complete our test procedure.
This seldom takes more than a week.

Your receipt is your ‘proof of purchase’. We can not process a warranty without a copy of this being sent in with the unit.
Equipment warranties are not transferable unless agreed by us prior to a warranty claim.

We do not support warranty claims on similar equipment bought from other suppliers. Any equipment sent to us for a warranty claim and found to have been supplied by another retailer, will generate an invoice for any work completed processing this claim. The equipment will not be released until the invoice is paid in full, and this charge will include carriage costs for the return of the unit.

Carriage charges

On orders over £100, we will pay the outbound carriage costs. Orders will be sent (until further notice) by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This will mean someone at the destination address will have to sign for the order. If Royal Mail can demonstrate the delivery was made to the destination address, Nightvision Supplies Limited will deem the order to have been received.

Claims for goods received damaged must be made within 12 hours of receipt of the order. We seldom have email waiting for more than 2 hours, and the mobile phone number found on our Contacts page also accepts text messages 24 hours a day.
Please help us to help you by giving us prompt advice about delivery problems. NEVER dispose of any wrapping material as this may be needed by Royal Mail to process a claim. Disposing of the wrapping material may prejudice a claim to the point it is refused.

If the wrapping material is clearly damaged, DO NOT sign for it. If someone else signs for it without noticing a potential problem like impact damage, do not open the package. Firstly advise us and Royal Mail of the problem. As above, please help us to help you.
